Velvet, juntamente com brocado, é certamente o mais rico, dos tecidos. Podemos visualizar bem este período em filmes como "Elizabeth", "O Outro Bolena Girl", as constantes remakes ambos televisionados e teatro de Robin Hood, e o sucesso da TV's "The Tudors". Floresta verde e royal velvets ocupam um lugar especial na parte de nossas mentes um romance que é eterno. Foi um período que houve o homem e a mulher vestindo o mesmo tecido.





The fascination with this period of history is ongoing. With the popularity of all the movies, TV shows and books covering this period of lux textiles and dressing to capture King's and Queen's hearts it is no wonder that the reign of the royals shall go on and on.
Velvet, along with brocade, is certainly the richest, of textiles. The infatuation with the now historic and histrionic courts of Europe hold a fascination with the general public as seen in the success of films such as “Elizabeth”, “The Other Boleyn Girl”, the constant remakes both televised and theatre of Robin Hood, and the success of TV’s "The Tudors." Forest green and royal velvets occupy a special place in the a part of our minds that romance is stored. It was a period that had the men and the woman wearing the same fabrics.

We like these silhouettes for their modernity, clarity of vision and counterpoint.Refined Minimalism: Although there were plenty of details to go around there was a certain minimal refinement going on at many of the houses. The concentration was on tailoring and shape.
